Hi. How can we help?

Creating a quote

Quotes are useful for letting a customer know how much a purchase will cost, putting a sale on hold for later, and keeping a record for you and the customer.

To access quote features on iPad, navigate to the Manager tab from the Profile page and follow the steps below.

Creating a quote

Quotes are created the same way you create a sale, but you save the sale as a quote instead of taking payment. To create a quote:

  1. Add a customer to the sale.
  2. Add items to the sale.
  3. Click Save as Quote.

Once you’ve saved it, the quote is linked to the customer and can be found in the customer’s profile. After saving, you’ll immediately have the option to edit, print, email, or reopen the quote.

Quotes made in Retail are not reflected in eCom.

Reopening, editing, or completing a quote

To reopen a quote, navigate to the Sales page, then use the Item field to scan the printed barcode. If a printed quote isn’t available and you need to change or reopen it to complete the sale, you can either search for the quote by customer or look up the quote directly.

Looking up a quote directly

To look up a quote directly:

  1. Navigate to Customers > Quotes.
  2. Find the quote using the search tools.
  3. To reopen a quote to the Sales screen, click the Checkout icon.

  2. Find the customer and click their name.
