If for any reason you need to disable negative inventory, you can do so under Settings > Optional Modules. Before you do, however, you need to correct the negative inventory you currently have on hand. Otherwise, if you still have items with negative inventory and you try to disable it, you will see an error message and the setting will not be saved.
- From the main menu, click Settings > Optional Modules
- Disable the Negative inventory switch.
- Click Save Changes.
Note: To deactivate this setting, you and all employees currently signed in must sign out and sign back in again.
