When an employee changes the price of an item, a new item.price_changed event log will be created with details of the change and the user who performed it. You can view event logs under Settings > Event Log in Retail POS.

For added security and PCI compliance, warning messages will appear when sensitive information like credit card numbers are detected in relevant fields across Retail POS on desktop.

When exporting items to a spreadsheet, the sum of items match quantity on hand totals, ensuring your inventory is accurate and eliminating the need for manual adjustments.

Accurate special order reservation when receiving partial purchase orders

When receiving partial purchase orders, special orders are reserved when adequate stock is received. Subsequent deliveries will not reserve stock if it has already been accounted for.

Offline mode for Lightspeed Payments beta

Offline mode for Lightspeed Payments (beta) allows you to take payments from customers even if your internet connection becomes unstable or temporarily unavailable. When the internet connection has been restored, payments stored on the terminal will be processed and Retail POS records updated.
