Printing full-page receipts and reports on your iPad

In the Retail POS app, you can print full-page receipts and reports on a desktop printer using AirPrint. To be able to use AirPrint, make sure your desktop printer is compatible with AirPrint and that it is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your iPad. For further assistance with your specific desktop printer, contact your printer's manufacturer.

Once your desktop printer is connected to your Wi-Fi network, you can:

 

 

Print receipts from the Sales screen

  1. From the Sales screen, search and filter the list and select a sale.airprint_select.png
  2. On the Details panel, tap Print receipt.airprint_printreceipt.png
  3. Select one of the following options:
    • Print Full-Page Receipt
    • Print Full-Page Gift Receiptairprint_print.png
  4. From the Printer Options modal, select your printer. The printer you select will be your default printer the next time you print a full-page receipt.
  5. Optionally, use the - or + buttons to adjust the number of copies you'd like to print. 
  6. You can also tap Options to toggle between single-sided or double-sided, control the page range and toggle between color or black and white.
  7. Tap Print.

Print reports from the Manager screen

  1. From the Manager screen, tap Reports.airprint_manager.png
  2. Select a report of your choice (e.g. Totals).airprint_totals.png
  3. Use the available filters to include only the results you want to print. You can print a maximum of 100 results at a time.
  4. On the top right of the search results, tap Printairprint_printreport.png
  5. From the Printer Options modal, select your printer. The printer you select will be your default printer the next time you print a full-page receipt.
  6. Optionally, use the - or + buttons to adjust the number of copies you'd like to print. You can also tap Options to toggle between single-sided or double-sided, control the page range and toggle between color or black and white.
