Referring brands to the Lightspeed NuORDER network

Retail POS (R-Series) merchants can invite brands or suppliers they work with to join the Lightspeed NuORDER network as a Catalog or Connect partner.

Why invite a brand to the NuORDER network?

Here’s what you, a Retail POS merchant, can get from referring a brand to NuORDER:

  • Faster product creation that can also reduce human error as product details, images, and descriptions from Lightspeed NuORDER brands are available in Retail POS via the NuORDER Catalog.
  • Streamlined reordering process, as you can place orders with Lightspeed NuORDER directly from your Retail POS and have the purchase order fulfilled by your supplier.
  • Easier ordering process, as you can order from your supplier’s digital showroom on NuORDER and have your order sync directly to your Retail POS.

Signing up for the NuORDER referral program

To invite a brand to the Lightspeed NuORDER network, you must sign up for the referral program:

  1. Go to the signup page and click Sign Up.
  2. Choose your preferred signup method:

    A popup with a selection of signup methods like email, Gmail, Facebook, Apple, and Microsoft

  3. Specify your name and your store/company name, and click Create Account:

After signing up, you will get access to your referral dashboard, where you can refer brands manually by submitting their details. Optionally, you can copy your individual link with a registration form and share it with a brand so that they fill out all the details themselves.

Referring a brand to NuORDER by submitting their details

After you sign up for the NuORDER referral program, you can manually refer a brand from your account. To do so, you will need to fill out the referral form with the brand's details.

To manually refer a brand from your referral account:

  1. Sign in to your referral dashboard.
  2. Click Add Brand Referral:

  3. Fill in the information about the brand:

  4. Click Submit Brand Referral.

Inviting a brand to submit their details to NuORDER

Optionally, you can invite a brand to the NuORDER network by sending them your unique referral link with the registration form. The brand can fill out and submit the form whenever they want; no further actions from you are needed.

To send your referral link to a brand:

  1. Sign in to your referral dashboard.
  2. Copy your unique referral link:

  3. Send the link with the registration form to your supplier or brand so that they can fill it out themselves:

    To register, a brand or supplier will need to specify their contact details, product vertical, and country.

Options for brands when joining NuORDER

Brands that become part of the NuORDER network get an opportunity to grow their wholesale channel.

When joining the NuORDER network, brands can choose between the following options:

  • Catalog partner: Catalog partners share their product catalogs so they are available in Retail POS via NuORDER Catalog so you can quickly create products or add them to a purchase order with accurate UPCS, descriptions, images and more. Any brand from any country can become a Catalog partner, but their catalog must be in English.

  • Connect partner: Connect partners not only share their product catalogs but also accept ordering directly in Retail POS. With integrated ordering, you can place an order with a brand from stock control in Retail POS and it's sent directly to your supplier to fulfill.

    Currently, a brand must have prices in USD and must ship to the US to become a Connect partner.

What happens after brand’s info is submitted

After you submit brand details from your referral dashboard or a brand fills out the referral link you send them, the Lightspeed NuORDER team will contact the brand to discuss their joining the network in 1-3 business days. The team will inform them that you referred them to the network.
