Here are the updates we made to:
Lightspeed Retail POS (R-Series) web
New: All Tags fields have been updated to a new autocomplete form to help users create, update, and find tags more quickly, which reduces the likelihood of typing mistakes.
New: Hub users can now select how many receipts are printed when completing a transaction by setting the desired amount in the account’s General Options>Printing section.
New: Hub users can now select the option to bypass the hub when wanting to print on a printer other than a receipt printer, without having to disconnect Hub.
Improved: The Serial Number Search field in the checkout was revamped as an autocomplete form to guarantee the accuracy of results when scanned or typed by the user.
Resolved: Merchants can now expect the assignment of serial numbers to work as expected. Previously, there was an issue where blank serial numbers were created when no other serial numbers were found.
Resolved: Merchants can now expect searching by tag in a price rule or discount rule to work as expected. Previously, there was an issue that would return no results.
Resolved: Merchants can now expect searching by tags in an inventory count to return accurate results.
Resolved: Selecting the option to only show the customer’s name when printing now works as expected. Previously, there was an issue where selecting this option would also show the company linked to that customer.
Resolved: Users can now easily select a vendor when creating a vendor return. Previously, some users may have experienced issues when creating a vendor return.
Resolved: Printing labels from a custom label template now works as expected. Previously, it would only respect the top margin for the first label.
New: For merchants who use Loyalty and the Retail (R-Series) web POS, the Loyalty integration is enhanced to actively sync/manage changes to a customer’s email address and consent. Now whenever a merchant adds/updates a customer's profile with an email address, this will be synced to the merchant’s LS Loyalty account. This email address can then be used as the primary identifier in Loyalty or for email communications.
