Hi. How can we help?

Setting up Lightspeed Analytics

After logging in to Lightspeed Analytics, you can configure settings to best suits your needs. To configure Analytics, select what industries you work with, how long an item sits on a shelf before it's considered "dusty," what customer information you want to capture, and more.

Retail POS takes approximately 2-3 hours to sync. You won't be able to run any reports before the first sync is complete, but you can start to configure your account and create user accounts for your employees.

  2. Click the gear icon (Admin) from the main menu > Configuration.

Configuration option from the main menu.

  4. Select your Industry from the dropdown. If your industry does not appear in the list, select Other - Retail.
  5. Click Next Step.
  6. In the Mark Dusty After column for each of your inventory categories, specify how long an item can go without a sale before being considered "dusty" (older). This affects which items appear on the Dusty Inventory report.

Optimize your inventory settings setup page.

  7. To include a category of items on inventory reports, check the Show Alerts box. If unchecked, the category will be hidden from inventory reports, but items will still be included in sales reports.
