Enhanced average cost calculations
The average cost algorithm has been overhauled to ensure that the average cost of an item is always accurate, regardless of how units are moved within the account. Workflows that cause average cost recalculations have also been adjusted to better align with industry best practices.

New fields and improved logic have been added to the Inventory tab on item pages to give you more visibility on inventory quantity allocation and cost values.

Inventory logs have been reorganized and expanded to help you better track how each action affects your inventory.

On the Current Sale page, merchants with Lightspeed Payments will now have one button for Card, improving the speed and convenience of the checkout process.

View, send, and print credit account statements
You can now generate an account statement to review all outstanding credit account balances and print or email the statement to your customer. If you use Lightspeed Payments, the emailed statement will contain a payment form your customer can use to pay off the balance through a secure portal.

Update to special orders and purchase orders behavior
In order to provide accurate and expected QOH, special orders can no longer be added to an already Sent purchase order. To fix a data entry error, you can reopen the purchase order.
eCom (E-Series)
New
New and improved section options for eCom sites
Build out your eCom site with new sections and improved editing options:
- Add a contact widget to your site (eCom Admin > Website > Edit Site > Add Section) to add a Contact Us button on each page of your Instant Site.
- Hide, move, and duplicate your site sections with editing options located under the three dots menu at the top of the section.
