Hi. How can we help?

About Customer Facing Display on your iPad

Customer Facing Display (CFD) allows your customers to preview sales in real time on a secondary iPad. This helps reduce errors and increase customer satisfaction in your shop. To make sure that you and your customers are on the same page, your secondary iPad shows the following sale details in either the landscape or portrait orientation:

  • Customer
  • Quantity
  • Item
  • Price
  • Discount name
  • Subtotal
  • Discounts
  • Tax
  • Total

Sharing the checkout experience with Customer Facing Display is made possible with the Lightspeed CFD iOS app. To get started, simply install it on your secondary iPad. Then, open the Retail POS app on your primary iPad and connect it to your secondary iPad. Once the two are connected, you can customize the branding of your secondary display in the Retail POS app. Lastly, it's important to know the iOS settings that can both secure and boost the performance of your secondary iPad.
