Hi. How can we help?

Setting up your payment processing

If you've chosen to integrate your payment processing with Lightspeed Payments or with one of our supported third-party payment processors, the payment terminal or card reader they provided you with is encrypted for your security. This encryption also means that you cannot use a payment terminal or card reader other than the one they provided you with, as it will not be compatible with their services.

To set up your payment processing,  follow the instructions that are specific to your hardware in the table below. The table is organized by payment processor and lists their supported region. For example, if you're a new merchant located in the United States, the supported payment processors in your region are Lightspeed Payments and Cayan.

Note: If you've signed up with Lightspeed Payments, please see About Lightspeed Payments for a full overview on how to get started. Instructions on how to set up your payment terminal are included.
