Reflect your company's branding by setting a background and logo under Settings > Company Branding in Retail POS.
Setting a background
The background you select customizes Retail POS on iPad.
Background images can be:
- .png or .jpg
- Minimum 1024 x 768 pixels
To set a background:
- Navigate to Settings > Company Branding.
- Select or upload a background by browsing for the image file or dragging and dropping.
- Click Done.
Setting a logo
Logos appears in Retail POS if you're using a desktop or an iPad. The logo also appears on printed sales receipts (black and white) or in emails (color).
Logo images can be:
- .png or .jpg
- Maximum 1080 x 1080 pixels
Note that images are automatically resized to the largest possible dimensions capable of fitting in the logo area. A black logo with a white background is recommended.
To set a logo:
- Navigate to Settings > Company Branding.
If you already have a logo uploaded, select Remove Logo before setting a new one.
- Select or upload a logo by browsing for the image file or dragging and dropping. A preview of the logo appears on-screen along with a mock customer email.
- Optionally, invert the on-screen colors. This doesn't affect how your logo will print on sales receipts or appear on email receipts.
- Click Done.
Testing your brand settings
Once you set a background and logo, view the pages and screens where they appear to test your brand settings.
If you're using Retail POS on a desktop, your logo will display on the Lock page. To view the Lock page, select Lock on the main menu.
If you're using Retail POS on an iPad, your background and logo will display on the Profile screen, the New sale screen, and the Lock screen.
To view the Profile screen, tap your name on the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen.
To view the New sale screen, tap New sale on the Profile screen.
To view the Lock screen, tap Lock on the Profile screen.
