The event log can be used to monitor and maintain what is happening within your Retail POS account.
Accessing the event log
- Navigate to Settings and under the Advanced setup section, click Event log.
- Use the filters to locate an event log entry as required.
- Click the event log entry to expand for more detail.
Understanding the event log
Each event log records:
- Date/time: The date and time the event occurred
- Employee: The employee that initiated the event
- Type and Category: Classifications of the event
- Event: A description of what the event is
- Sale ID: An associated sales ID with redirect (where applicable)
- Register: The register used to action the event
- View details: Additional information related to the event
