You can add pages to your eCom (E-Series) Instant Site to create a multi-page website. Multi-page websites offer:
- Better content organization: Structured pages and organized navigation present information more effectively, making it easier for visitors to find what they need.
- Detailed product or service showcasing: Dedicated pages allow for in-depth presentation of products, services, and other offerings.
- SEO benefits: Search engines index individual pages, organizing them by content, keywords, and metadata. A well-organized structure and keyword-rich pages can enhance a site’s visibility on search results pages.
- Trust building: About Us, Testimonials, or FAQ pages contribute to building trust and credibility by providing brand information and social proof to customers.
- Space for marketing campaigns: Campaign pages help you promote specific deals or special events through emails or social media.
- Flexibility: Add pages to introduce new products, services, or policy updates as your business grows.
Instant Site pages come pre-designed with editable sections you can organize in your navigation menu to help visitors explore your site. Depending on your plan, you can add 3, 10, or 100 pages to your site.
Adding pages to your site
To add a new page to your Instant Site:
- In your eCom admin, navigate to Website > Design > Edit site.

Click Page: Homepage > Add more pages.

Click + Add page.
- Update the page’s sections and settings as needed.
- Click Preview to verify your changes.
- Click Publish to add the page to your live website.
New pages will be accessible via the direct link but won’t appear on your site until they’re added to your navigation menu.
Updating default page titles and URLs
Each page on your site has its own page title and link (URL) ending with a unique subdirectory (slug), for example mystore.com/about-us. By default, a new page is assigned a /new-page slug that can be edited to better identify its purpose. Assigning a unique page URL is crucial for identification, SEO, user navigation, content sharing, and overall website functionality.
- In your eCom admin, navigate to Website > Design > Edit site.
- Select the page from the Page: (Page title) dropdown.

Click the Settings tab, then add or update the page’s title and web address (slug). You can also manage the page’s SEO information and visibility from this tab.
- Click Publish.
Adding and editing page sections
Instant Site pages are built with customizable content sections, like contact info, product videos, delivery and payment policies, etc. You can add, edit, reorganize, rename, and delete sections as needed. You can also add custom code sections to pages.
Adding page sections
- In your eCom admin, navigate to Website > Design > Edit site.
- Select the page from the Page: (Page title) dropdown.

Click + Add section.

Use the section categories in the left menu to browse section templates.
- Click a section template to add it to the page.
- Update the section title, description, image, and other elements as needed.
- Click Back to return to the page editor.
Editing section content and design
- In the page editor, click into the section you want to edit.

Click the Content tab to edit the section’s title, description, image, and other elements.
Images can be uploaded as JPG, PNG, JPEG2000, GIF, WEBP, or TIFF files, under 20 MB each, with a recommended width of 1500-2000 pixels. If you want to add text to your images, overlay it using the Instant Site editor so that it remains responsive on all screens.
You can add navigation buttons or clickable text to Intro & cover, Promo sliders, Videos, Special offers, Contact info, and Company info sections. To remove an existing button from a section, delete the button name from the Title field, then publish the changes.
- Click the Design tab to edit the layout, colors, fonts, and other styles.
- Click Preview to verify your changes.
Reorganizing page sections
You can change the order of all sections except for Header, Announcement, and Footer, as these are always the first and last sections of your website.
- In the page editor, click and hold the six dots icon (Move) next to the section name.

Drag the section up or down the list, then release to change its order on the page.
The page preview on the right will update to show the section’s new position on the page.
Duplicating or moving page sections
- In the page editor, click into the section you want to duplicate or move.
- Click the three dots icon (More), then select:
- Duplicate section > (Page name) · Current page to duplicate the section on the current page. Alternatively, you can select a different page to add a copy of the section to that page. If you select a different page, you’ll be redirected to that page’s editor.

Move to page > select a different page to move the section to.
Renaming page sections
- In the page editor, click into the section you want to rename.
- Double-click the section name, or click the three dots icon (More) > Rename section.
- Update the section name, then click anywhere on the page to apply.
Hiding page sections
- In the page editor, click into the section you want to hide.
- Click the three dots icon (More) > Hide section.
The hidden section will be greyed out in the preview on the right and on the Sections tab.
You can’t delete Header or Footer sections, but you can hide them from your site by clicking into the section and toggling off Show header or Show footer.
Deleting page sections
- In the page editor, click into the section you want to delete.
- Click the three dots icon (More) > Delete section or scroll down and click the trash icon (Delete section).
This action can’t be undone unless you discard all unpublished changes.
Adding pages to the navigation menu
When you finish customizing a new page, you must add it to the navigation menu at the top of your site so visitors can access the page.
To add a page to your navigation menu:
- In your eCom admin, navigate to Website > Design > Edit site.
- Click Page: Homepage.

Click Header.

Click the Navigation menu element.
- Click + Add menu item.
- In the Title field, enter a page name visitors will see in the top menu of your site, like “About Us.”
- In the Action on click dropdown, select Go to site page, then select the page.
- (Optional) Toggle on Add dropdown menu, then click + Add item to add a dropdown with other navigation options that appears when visitors hover over the menu item.
- Click Publish.
Hiding a page
When making updates, you can choose to temporarily hide a page and direct website visitors to a 404 page if they access the page’s direct link.
Hiding a page will not remove it from your site’s navigation menu, it will need to be removed manually.
- In your eCom admin, navigate to Website > Design > Edit site.
- Select the page from the Page: (Page title) dropdown.
- Click the Settings tab.

Toggle off Show page.
- Click Publish.
A crossed-out eye icon (Not visible) will appear next to the page title to indicate the page is hidden.
Deleting a page
You can permanently delete a page if you no longer need it. Note that search engines will eventually de-index a deleted page, and ranking for specific keywords and the overall visibility of your website in search results may be affected.
- In your eCom admin, navigate to Website > Design > Edit site.
- Select the page from the Page: (Page title) dropdown.

At the bottom of the page, click Delete page.
This action can’t be undone unless you discard all unpublished changes.
Reverting page and section changes
If you update or delete a page and want to undo the changes, you can revert to the last published version of your site.

At the top of the site editor, click Discard all next to the Preview button.
- In the Discard all dropdown, click Discard unpublished changes.
Restoring sections to the default design
You can discard changes made on the Design tab and restore all settings to the section’s default design.
- In the page editor, click into the section you want to restore.
- Click the Design tab.

At the bottom of the tab, click Restore section defaults. This cannot be undone.
