When you order from a supplier, any items included in the order are automatically added to your local inventory.
You can import items from the Supplier Market. Lightspeed checks for and prevents duplicate products. When you attempt to import an item, the system searches your inventory and creates or updates your items. Afterward, the import items button is disabled. An outline of this searching process can be found under inventory updates.
- From the main menu, select Supplier Market.
- Select a supplier that has the Ordering available tag. This tag is viewable on any Item Details page of any item for a specific supplier.
- Select an item.
- Select Import product or Import all variants.
Once you import the item or variants, all the items' details, images, prices, etc will be added to your inventory.
