To keep your new items organized in your inventory, you'll need to create categories. Navigate to Inventory > Categories to create categories and subcategories and built the structure of your inventory. You can then assign them to items manually on each item's details page. You'll benefit from doing so when it comes time to run reports and inventory counts.
NOTE: You can change the categories of many items at once by modifying your inventory through the import tool.
